Paul Dolphin Designs was founded in 2015. In January 2021 it expanded to become PdD Building Design. We are a multi-disciplinary team of Accredited Building Designers that specialise in stunning, innovative low energy, sustainable homes and building designs.
Collectively we have over 50 years of design and building experience with degrees in architecture, town planning, landscape architecture, building surveying and graphic design.
We Believe Good Architecture Can Be Environmentally Friendly
It is the duty of every architect and building designer to produce sustainable, low energy design solutions. Our particular interest is sustainable, solar passive house design within set budgets.
We have a proven track record in designing buildings that are good for their occupants, good for the environment and that are economic to build and operate. Bushfire safe design is also a key issue in our design work for which we have created a series of excellent solutions.

We incorporate solar passive and sustainable practices into our design plans to suit individual clients and their projects.

As a local business, we love to help locals build and renovate using our extensive local knowledge and experience from living and working in the area. We also work with clients remotely (esp. Sydney and Canberra) who are looking for a holiday home, investment property or a South Coast sea- change.
Our office is based near Batemans Bay, within the Eurobodalla Shire on the beautiful NSW South Coast. We have extensive experience working across the NSW South Coast including Batemans Bay, Eurobodalla Shire, Bega Shire and the southern tablelands region of Palerang and Queanbeyan.

My parents knew I would end up working with buildings when I asked for a history of medieval gothic churches when I was 12 years old.
Well, many years later and I am still as passionate about design and construction.
I have 20 years of experience working in design, construction and the built environment.
