Custom House Designs in Batemans Bay, the NSW South Coast & Beyond
PdD Building Design are a dedicated team of building designers specialising in creating liveable, low-energy homes. Our office is based in Batemans Bay, within the Eurobodalla Shire on the beautiful NSW South Coast.
We often work with clients from Sydney and Canberra who are looking for an investment property, holiday home or South Coast sea- change. As a local business, we also help locals build and renovate using our extensive local knowledge and experience from living and working in the area.
We Believe Good Architecture Can Be Environmentally Friendly.
It is the duty of every architect and building designer to produce sustainable, low energy homes. Our particular interest is sustainable housing design for tight budgets. Would you love a house that is naturally cool in summer and naturally warm in winter? We design solar passive, eco house plans to suit every budget.
We have a proven track record in designing buildings that are good for their occupants, good for the environment and are economic to build and operate. We work to design buildings with natural materials, that have a low impact on the environment. Bushfire safe design is a key issue in our design work and we have created a series of low-cost solutions.
We have won awards for our eco designs as well as being featured in the national press. Our team comprises of designers all with post graduate qualifications and many years of experience. We are Accredited Building Designers with degrees in Architecture, Building Surveying, Town Planning, Landscape Architecture, Graphic Design and Sustainability.
Paul Dolphin - Director and Principal Designer
MLPM, Msc, GradCertArchScience (Sustainable Design)
My name is Paul Dolphin, my parents knew I would end up working with buildings when I asked for a history of medieval gothic churches when I was 12 years old.
Well, many years later and I am still as passionate about design and construction.
I have 20 years of experience working in design, construction and the built environment.
Kiri Wright - Lead Building Designer
My name is Kiri-Tehani Wright; I am a building designer based in Long Beach on NSW South Coast.
I delight in my work and consider myself one of the fortunate who LOVES what they do.
I have been designing buildings passionately since I was eleven years old, and graduated with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from UNSW in 2008.
Olivia Mackie - Building Designer
Hello! I am Olivia.
My parents owned a clothing and textile design business so I was surrounded by creativity and design from a very early age.
I loved watching the whole design process unfold. From the early conceptual phases, the refinement, then finally seeing the finished product come to fruition.
