About PdD Building Design
Sustainable Building Designers
Building Design South Coast
PdD Building Design are building designers specialising in creating liveable, low-energy homes. We are based in the Eurobodalla Shire on the South Coast. We often work with clients from Sydney and Canberra who are looking for a South Coast sea change. Paul Dolphin Designs commenced designing in 2015 and in January 2021 Paul Dolphin Designs expanded to become PdD Building Design.
We believe Architecture can be environmentally friendly.
It is the duty of every architect and building designer to produce solar passive low energy homes. Our particular interest is sustainable housing design for tight budgets. Do you want a house that is naturally cool in summer and naturally warm in winter? We design solar passive house plans that suit tight budgets.
We have won awards for our eco designs as well as being featured in the national press! Our team comprises of designers all with post graduate qualifications and many years of experience. We are Accredited Building Designers with degrees in Architecture, Building Surveying, Town Planning, Landscape Architecture, Graphic Design and Sustainability.
Paul Dolphin - Director and Principal Designer
BDMA, MLPM, Msc, SDS
My name is Paul Dolphin, my parents knew I would end up working with buildings when I asked for a history of medieval gothic churches when I was 12 years old.
Well, many years later and I am still as passionate about design and construction.
I have 20 years of experience working in design, construction and the built environment.
Kiri Wright - Lead Building Designer
My name is Kiri-Tehani Wright; I am a building designer based in Long Beach on NSW South Coast.
I delight in my work and consider myself one of the fortunate who LOVES what they do.
I have been designing buildings passionately since I was eleven years old, and graduated with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from UNSW in 2008.
Olivia Mackie - Building Designer
Hello! I am Olivia. I am passionate about creativity and design.
My parents owned a clothing and textile design business so I was constantly surrounded by it all from a very early age.
I loved watching the whole design process unfold. From the early conceptual phases, the refinement stages and then finally seeing the finished product come to fruition before my eyes.
