Braidwood Eco Country House Design

The very first collaboration between Paul Dolphin Designs and Green Homes South East. And wow how did it turn out!  We absolutely love driving past this piece of architecture and admiring how the design sits in so well with the landscape around Braidwood. It is a modern version of the rural homestead house design. It is in effect a modern farmhouse design with a rustic modern home feel.
 

We used monument Colorbond as external cladding with hardwood posts at the corners to give the house a contemporary country style. Internally the design is rustic industrial, with a fabulous polished concrete floor and recycled brick fireplace. The breezeway designs used vertical weathertex.
