Braidwood Green Home Design

The aim of this house was to design a simple modern house design.

The eco floor plan uses a Northern orientation to create a Solar Passive house design. The long slim block has a side elevation to the North so there are many windows opening up to a Northern courtyard. The building design is an excellent example of fitting a simple modern house design onto a slim building block. This house was recently completed by Green Homes SE NSW and there is a walkthrough video below. There is also a video of Paul Dolphin from PdD Building Design talking about sustainable design, working with Green Homes, all whilst sweating and gently melting in the Aussie sun!!
