Beach House Design Malua Bay

What to do with a 1970s house full of asbestos? Well, if it is located in Mosquito Bay, Malua Bay with a garden that opens onto the beach - a full eco renovation is the solution. The clients engaged Paul Dolphin and PdD Building Design to act as the building designer and to submit the DA for a new set of floor plans for the renovation.

The coastal renovation has resulted in a house design that would look fantastic in Grand Designs Magazine.

The master bedroom looks right through the living room, through a corner stacker door onto a deck that looks out over the ocean. The bay is full of dolphins, whales, and an occasional sea snake! The clients have undertaken virtually all the work themselves and their attention to detail and the internal and external finishings as well as choice of materials are fantastic. The landscaping includes a deck that faces out over the ocean and is a stunning place to soak up the view.
